GIANT Play by Play Plush

This guy clocks in at over 3 feet tall, and to my knowledge is the most massive plush currently on the market for Mewtwo. Maybe someday we'll get an official life-size Mewtwo but until then, he's the king of the plush!
Big PBP #1

One of what appear to be two distinctily different Play-By-Play plushes of the same size, closer to 2 feet tall.
Big PBP #2

You can tell that the style of the chest guard pieces is different between the last picture and this one, but otherwise they look the same.
Small PBP

This one's barely a foot tall, and the smallest PBP I have on hand. Not the best job with the eyes on this one. The other one IS there, it's just in an awkward spot you can't really see in this pic.
Big Mewtwo Backpack

Apparently there were multiple sizes of the Mewtwo backpack, even if only different by a couple inches. This is the bigger of the ones in my collection.
Medium Backpack

This one's a couple inches smaller, and seems to be the "standard" backpack.
Medium backpack (modded)

A friend's mother, an experienced seamstress, took an extra backpack I had and removed the straps and zipper, making this into quite the quality plush!
They really should have had the people making the Mewtwo backpacks be the ones working at Play-By-Play and making plushes instead.

Paki Paki Posable Mewtwo Plush

This guy's got a lot of history in our little community.
At one point, they were extremely rare, with single posables going for as much as $130. Later on, one Japanese importer came into a large number of them and sold them to me and honestboris for...let's say a significant sum, but not $130 each.
They've since become much cheaper, as low as 99p or 700 yen.
Assuming enough of these show up, between my collection and honestboris's, we'd like to eventually own 150 of them between the two of us.
Right now he has 16 and I have 14 and 1 more on the way - one-fifth of the way to our goal!
(Let it be known that if one is up for bid somewhere and a fellow Mewtwo collector sees this write-up and is interested in picking it up, shoot me an e-mail - if you will commit to making sure you get it, so the posable on the market will be sure to stay within the Mewtwo fan community, neither I nor Boris will bid on it and you shall have it unopposed. Only when there appears to be no other competition do we continue to pick up multiples.)

Mewtwo Chibi Plush DX

This has gotta be one of the most overinflated prices I've seen on eBay - they're often getting listed for $100+ - and actually selling for that price. He's a damn nice plush, impecable quality from head to toe.
Mewtwo Chibi Plush Standard

The smaller version of the chibi plush, and the one I picked up first. One of these was involved in the "biggest trade ever" detailed in the Holy Grails section.
I'd say between $30-40 is a proper price for this guy, with the $40 being if he's still tagged.

New Movie 16 Plush

This little guy came out about the same time that Mewtwo's Awakening came out. There's a new posable that I need to pick up but the price needs to go down a bit.
Hasbro plush - crappiest Mewtwo plush ever

This is, without a doubt, the worst Mewtwo plush ever made, but it's an additional unique item in my collection so I have to list it. If only someone else would remake this plush so it wouldn't suck...
Bootleg

Oh wait, THEY DID. And by "they" I mean "plush bootleggers." This is what the Hasbro plush should have looked like. More quality on the fleece, better facial expression, and better looking flap for the chest guard.
I usually don't support bootlegs, especially when they're directly trying to take a sale away from a similar product - but it's just better than the item it's ripping off in every regard.

B&W/Best Wishes Mewtwo Plush

Picked up in one large barrage of Mewtwo merch right around the new movie's promotion.
White-tailed Mewtwo

He's got a derpy face but he's one of the more uncommon plush out there. Extremely hard to get at a fair price on eBay, most people turn to alternate sites and collecting communities to pick this up.
"Frogtwo"

I believe Glanth and the Museum both dubbed it with this name, but given his look, I can't say I disagree. I think there may be a larger version of this out there but I'm not sure.
Banpresto UFO Catcher #1

Originally only available as a UFO claw game prize in Japan. There were two versions of this, released in different years.
Banpresto UFO Catcher #2

This is the alternate version, with a darker tail - I think this one fits Mewtwo a bit better. It seems to vary by plush whether they use the standard tail or the dark one.
Berkshire Fashions Keychain Plush

I had one of these for the longest time that I got in a random lot and just didn't know what it was. It wasn't until I saw another listed a long time later that I was able to really identify this.
Mewtwo clip-on plush

He has a much better clip to attach to something than most of the other ones - the clip-on for the Berkshire one is so tiny, it's a bit awkward.
Mewtwo hair scrunchie

Two of these have passed through my hands - this one that I've hung onto, and one that was traded to Glanth as a small part of the deal that got me my first Bath Buddy. Not that I have much use for a scrunchie anyway.
REVERSIBLE PLUSH - RARE

I didn't know what I had until honestboris pointed it out to me. Apparently this thing's rare as hell, and he's gone for over $100 in community auctions where everyone knew just what he was. The zipper on his rump lets him go inside out and lets it look like he's stuck in a Pokeball.
Mewtwo Bell Plush - RARE

One more insanely rare item that there are only a few of known to exist over here - the bell plush was ridiculously expensive on auction and I've never seen one go cheap even on Y!J. ALL the bell plushes seem to fetch a premium, even for lesser-known Pokemon.
Pokemon Playables Applause Plush (sealed)

These guys aren't all that valuable - I'd say in the $15 range - I'm suprised they didn't go with a Master Ball holder for him. (Good luck trying to get one back in his Pokeball once you do open it!)
Posable packaging (front)

One last bit of history with the plushes - this is what new Paki Paki Posable Mewtwo plushes come attached to.
Posable packaging - back

And here's the back. This one shows there was also a posable Bayleaf - there's also a Lugia and Charizard, which tend to go for insane amounts of money when they're up for auction.
