The Holy Grails of Custom Work - Mewtwo Fursuits, by HonestBoris
After much deliberation as to whether or not to include these in this section, the positives of posting these far outweigh the negatives. Anyone who would have words with me over cosplay would have already done so.
These are, I honestly believe, the crowning achievement of Mewtwo custom works. HonestBoris slaved over these for hundreds of hours before getting costumes he was proud of, and still seeks to improve upon them. Both the original Mewtwo and my own Mewtwo character are here in their full glory, He deserves the recognition and praise that would come with being so dedicated to a character - and for having the patience to put up with me! - to create both of these masterpieces.
Custom 32" Posable Mewtwo Plush - by HonestBoris

One of the Paki Paki posable Mewtwo plushes that HonestBoris has (out of his massive collection) fell into disrepair, beyond what could be fixed. That wounded 'two served a higher purpose, however; dismantled, he figured out just how it was made, what materials were used, and where it could be improved upon. He made me this amazing gift as an early birthday present; it looks - and functions - exactly like the Paki Paki Mewtwos, but with sturdier materials and some innovations that would allow him to be properly cleaned, ensuring he'll be around for a long, LONG time.
Air2Art T-Shirt

Before much Mewtwo merch was commonly available, I ended up getting this done from a local airbrushing place, Air2Art (now Air Too Fly.) They've touched it up twice since I originally commissioned it - their airbrushing has held up suprisingly well for something I've had over 10 years!
Mewtwo Hoodie (Japan)

My apologies for the pics on this - this was the best I could do without being able to take a picture of someone wearing it. This is a hooded sweatshirt that I got from Japan - the other picture below will give a better show of the face on it. My only complaints are that the big front pocket has been sewn shut so I can't store anything in there while I might have reason to wear this.
Mewtwo Hoodie front pic

The eyes were done rather well, and the coloring was spot-on.
Air2Art work - denim jacket

Decided to spruce up an old jacket of mine with the same pose from the original T-shirt.
Japanese Mewtwo-Dusknoir comic

I'm still rather confused as to what Mewtwo and Dusknoir are saying to one another, or why those two were paired in a comic. But fanwork is fanwork and it was available at a decent price so I picked it up.
Shared Birthday Playmat

As far as the Game Boy games go, apparently Mewtwo came into existence on February 6th, as listed by the documents left at Cinnibar. Another famous figure was also born on February 6th...I decided to combine the two.
Hibbary original print

A rather well-known artist, hibbary, was on a Mewtwo kick for a while, and I managed to pick up one of these from her last year.
Tiny Mewtwo figure

I wish I remember when I bought this, or from who.
Custom laser-engraved tag from Honestboris

It's amazing just how much precision a laser cutter has in creating things like this.
Mewtwo beanie #1

I picked up a couple of these within a short time of one another. Cute, but nowhere near as detailed as the hoodie or some other customs I've gotten.
Mewtwo beanie #2

I remember picking this one up because it included the second neck. That's probably one of the bigger pains in the ass making something like this.
Tiny Mewtwo pillow

I hope to someday get a custom Mewtwo-shaped pillow that's much larger than this, for everyday use. This one's small enough that I could see one of my cats using it for a pillow!
Back of tiny pillow

Mainly showing how the tail was done on this.
Pipey (from floppybelly)

Floppybelly makes a bit of money doing custom-made pipey creatures. Someone asked for a Mewtwo from her and never came to pick it up so I ended up buying it.
Misc. artwork

These are some custom Mewtwo pieces that were gifted to me from various people I bought Mewtwo items from. One of them (I'll leave you to determine which) was done by once-famous custom card artist Purity, better known as Julia Hedberg! Early on in my Mewtwo collecting, having something from Purity was on my bucket list.

A new badge and a doodle, from Myuutsufan and Blitz (Chris Darling) respectively.
